Caturday


bfast Dannon yogurt smoothie

lunch: black beans, red beans, yellow rice, roast pork... from the Spanish grocery store. YUM!

snack: nuts, ~20% of a turkey sub.

dinner: sushi and hummus pizza, beer, chips, snacks, brownie. call it a surprise get together for dj infinite (bday) and redvoid (caturday)

Friday weigh-in

From being sick with gastroenteritis and a change in diet/lifestyle.... I lost 5 pounds since last Friday. Hell yeah. Call me 189.5. Target is 169. Now I just need to get ill four more times. I think I just have to mix in my own poo with whatever I cook.

bfast: drinkable yogurt dealio on the way to work.
bfast2: 1.5 cups? Curves cereal and water

lunch1: apple. red. delicious. (except for the squishy, inedible part)
lunch2: Lenny's chicken salad salad. mostly chopped iceberg lettuce, chicken, mayo, cheese ... but with green peppers, tomato, pepper relish, yellow peppers, onion. I'm eating it 'ChristyStyle'... ie no dressing... (no dressing? undressed? naked? Christy?) and sunflower kernels. Mmmm salt. I'm mega full... I hope with good stuff. I need my 3rd water cup of the day.

dinner: 6' turkey&bacon sub from Publix. no mayo but cheese. some chips, salsa, hummus and "Scoops". Water of course.

edit: I deleted my corporate Confidentiality Notice from the end of the post. I was able to email an address and post to the fitness blog. I can poop and post at the same time. That's synergy baby!

sleep

it was almost 12am when i looked up from working on music and giving a hard few listens to a friend's new/magical piece. damn! i was wanting to watch the new Knight Rider.... should I stay up and sit in front of the tv... or read a few pages and go to bed? seeing how I worked out earlier that night... going to sleep/repair mode won out. sad sad... so responsible! i have a twinge of disgust.

wednesday

bfast: had 3/5ths? 1/2? ... some Smart Start Anti-Oxidants Edition cereal, no milk when I got up. at work, i'm drinking 1/2 of the Naked protein drink (250 cal, 20g protein).

lunch: oat bran pita, spicy hummus, ham, sliced yellow peppers, 1/2 tomato = yum. if i wasn't in a hurry i would have added spinach for YELLOW+RED+GREEN vegetabley goodness. Today it was just yellow+red. I think all of my spinach is wilted and shit anyway.

lunch2: HB egg + a prune.

lunch3: apple. red. delicious!

dinner: studio night @ redvoid's hizzy. TASTY smoked turkey (salty!), jalapeno pepper jack cheese, bacon, guaca, roma tomato, russian dressing panini sandwich on olive oil basted french bread, 150cals of chips and a great, awesome, tasty chocolaty cookie, and 2 pickles. water. did i enjoy this? heck yes i did bitch!

music


shit. i'm on a roll. might as well keep typing right? dumping songs to the ipod and making a playlist rocks. music while working out helps keep up the vibe. honestly, i just can't run/workout without music. it engages a certain part of my brain. it can make me dance.

if you work out. you need a mp3 player. or hint hard for one. or go to best buy. whatever you budget is, you'll find one. you don't need a candy ass model (my ipod mini was free tho!) just kick ass music.

and i recommend ear buds for working out। get that shit.

mon+tues food


After a recent bout with gastroenteritis, i was more aware of the food i was putting into my body... basically because i had to only have a liquid diet (broth, pop-sick-les, apple juice, gatorade (it has electrolytes!) and then the BART diet (bananas, applesauce, rice, toast). I'll take this time to create a blog about the food and fitness I'm doing with my body so I can later abandon said blog. Or Not. We'll see how long this goes.

Monday: bfast: Banana. Rice & broth. lunch: 7-11 turkey&cheese sammich on 'cracked wheat'. 1/2 of a protein drink. a handful of Combos (a treat damnit!!!) dinner: 1/2 Kashi pizza, some prunes. Dinner was only an amazing 435+40=475 calories. I'm sure I ate a deficit.

Tuesday: bfast: 1/2 Kashi pizza, some prunes. lunch: smartstart cereal & water. can of soup (40 or 80 calories?) lunch#2: SBDiet PB cereal bar (140cal, 10g pro). workout=back+bicep+cardio(20mins) dinner: tuna (175cal) 1.5 HB Eggs 1oz low moisture part skim mozzarella cheese. applejuice+diet mt.dew (dessert bish!) - at the gym i weighed in at 196lbs with ipod (3.6oz)

I can see how planning out what you're going to eat helps prevent you from eating crap. Perhaps tomorrow I'll be up early enough to take some smart start cereal (ants ate my raisin bran, damnit) and HB eggs and microwavable meal to work.

edit: planning to eat also seems to save money... or at least, keeps you eating what you already bought rather than buying something with wallet money and letting things in the pantry expire (banana nut bread, Jiffy)
